What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application does not collect, log, or store any personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required.
If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data, such as an ephemeral IP address, may be transmitted only to facilitate network connectivity. This data is not retained or used for tracking by the Service Provider.
Local reading journal records
If you create book records inside the app, those records may include book titles, author names, reading statuses, ratings, personal notes, impressions, genre tags, favorite states, recently added titles, analytics views, average ratings, star distribution data, completed book counts, milestone states, daily logging streaks, app settings, and other local reading journal records.
These records are intended to remain on your device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
Does the Application collect precise real-time location information?
No. BookKeeper Pro does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device.
Do third parties see or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, no personal data is shared with third parties by the Service Provider.
Data Retention
BookKeeper Pro does not collect, log, store, sell, or transfer personal information to the Service Provider during normal use, so the Service Provider does not maintain a server-side retention period for personal app data.
Reading journal records created inside the app, such as book titles, statuses, ratings, impressions, favorites, genre tags, milestones, streaks, and settings, are local device records unless otherwise stated. You control these local records through your device and app usage.
If you contact SZYGENDA directly by email or another voluntary channel, the company may retain that communication only as needed to respond to your request, maintain business records, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
Data Deletion
Because BookKeeper Pro does not collect personal information through normal use, there is no personal app data stored by the Service Provider that needs to be deleted from company servers.
You can remove local app records by using any available in-app data management options, clearing app data through your device settings, or uninstalling the Application from your device.
If you voluntarily contacted SZYGENDA and want that communication deleted where applicable, contact the Service Provider at support@szygenda.site.
What are my opt-out rights?
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, uninstalling it removes the Application from your device. You may also use device settings or any in-app controls to manage local records.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them.
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children's personal data is not collected by the app. If a child voluntarily provides information through other means, a parent or guardian may contact SZYGENDA to request deletion where applicable.
Security
Because the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of personal data exposure is minimal. However, no security system is completely secure. The Service Provider uses reasonable safeguards for systems and any voluntary communications it may hold.
Data Breach Notification
Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a data breach affecting app personal data is minimal. If a breach occurs involving information you voluntarily provided, the Service Provider will notify you as required by applicable law.
Responsible-use notice
BookKeeper Pro is a personal reading journal and library tracking utility. It is not an online bookstore, book sales marketplace, public book review network, social reading platform, ebook reader, audiobook player, academic citation manager, library institution software, school LMS, professional publishing tool, AI book summarizer, or replacement for libraries, publishers, academic sources, copyright rules, professional literary advice, teachers, or personal judgment.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by posting the updated Privacy Policy with a new effective date. Where required by law, consent will be requested before material changes take effect.
Your Consent
If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
